EasilyDo will not show you every email from your connected email account, but depending on which email related Features you have turned on, EasilyDo will pull out important information from your email account.
The email Features work in different ways. Some like 'Receipts' will work in the background for you as EasilyDo will take care of filing receipts into a folder called 'EasilyDo/ Receipts' in your email account. Other Features like 'Add Reminder to Pay Bills' will recognize that you have a bill pay email, and then offer to add the bill to the Reminders app or to your Calendar so you can be sure to pay it on time.
One of our favorite email Features is 'Important Email' Alerts. For this Feature, you can set up your preference for what type of email to get alerts for and EasilyDo will let you know when that email arrives. You'll also be able to respond to the email from whatever email account the email was originally sent to. Please see more info below about how to set this up:
The general rule for this Feature and the other Features of this kind (with search criteria) is: among the four fields and within each field, EasilyDo reads them as 'and' for the preferences entered.
For example, if:
From: support@easilydo.com
Subject: EasilyDo feedback
then EasilyDo will only file emails that are from support@easilydo.com with the words 'EasilyDo' and 'feedback' in the subject.
Here are some other rules:
1. You can't list more than one sender. (This can be an enhancement for the future)
2. You have to list the complete senders email address in order for it to trigger this Feature. Again, something like support@easilydo.com.
3. If you give both a sender and subject, both must match for it be triggered in EasilyDo.
4. Commas, quoted phrases and wildcards are not taken into consideration in the fields
